Bone and joint wellness

Bone and joint wellness is a modern concept which targets the younger population before or at early stages of osteoarthritis to identify causes and prevent development or worsening of osteoarthritis in later life.

This is done through a variety of methods including lifestyle modifications, postural correction, strengthening and stretching muscles and offloading joints. This can be in the form of exercises that are easily incorporated into a routine workout.

The joints are also supported with medication such as light pain control, dietary supplements, vitamins and minerals.

Joint injections, physiotherapy, dietary modifications, and minimally invasive procedures can also be used to support the joints, minimising wear and tear, thus preventing or delaying the development of osteoarthritis in later life.
